It is widely known that Pero Jelisić’s lifelong inspiration in his artistic work is Nikola Tesla. For this reason, filming a documentary about the life and work of Pero Jelisić was difficult to imagine without a visit to the Hotel New Yorker, where Tesla lived and passed away.
Spending the night in Tesla’s room, No. 3327, felt to Jelisić like the missing piece of a puzzle — completing a circle in his earthly journey. In addition to the room where Tesla lived and died, the Hotel New Yorker features a dedicated Tesla Corner, displaying artworks and photographs related to Tesla’s life and legacy.

Pero Jelisić will donate his artwork “Nikola Tesla Medal – Connection with the Universe” to the Hotel New Yorker, where it will become part of the Tesla Corner collection — the hotel’s museum space dedicated to Nikola Tesla.
