Biography
Year of birth: 1939.
Graduated from high school in Tuzla
Attended and graduated from Academy of Fine Arts 1959-1964. in class of prof. Frane Kršinić
Attended and finished Graduate School in Master Art Studio of prof. Vanja Radauš in Zagreb (1964-1967)
Member of Croatian Association of Artists since 1965.
Study trips: Austria, Italy, France, UK. Received number of national prizes for open space sculptures.
Authored number of monuments, mostly portraits in ex-Yu republics.
Participated in more than 100 group exhibits with various art associations both home and abroad.

PRIZES AND AWARDS:
1967 – Award on 1st Yugoslav sculpture symposium in Bihać (refugee camp)
1967 – Jury award on 1st Yugoslav portrait exposition in Tuzla
1980 – Award on Yugoslav completion for II. World War II Victims Monument (NOR), (Vrace) – Sarajevo
1987 – 1st prize for sculpture during Art Colony in Crikvenica
1988 – Redemption prize for Antifascism Monument in Krk
1989 – Prize on Yugoslav competition for World War II Victims Monument (NOR) Zavidovići, BiH
1999 – Prize for Vukovar Victims in Homeland War
2008 – Award at the international competition for Tesla’s monument in Prague
2011 – Award for the sculptures of Nikola Tesla – Nikola Tesla, genius for the future
2012 – First prize for the monument dedicated to the fallen combatants and civilian casualties of the Croatian War of Indepandence in Glina
– and numerous local prizes and awards.
My art work is also exhibited in Austria, BiH, Germany, USA and Spain.
Sculptures „Mother and child“, „Meditation“ (made in marble), as well as sculptures „Bosanka“, „Madona“ and „Poetry“ (made in bronze) were exhibited on Saloon of Nations in Paris. They earned favorable comments from art critics. I received invitations for exhibits in Geneva, Paris, London, Tokyo and New York, but I could not attend due to lack of funding.
